‘Wreck-It Ralph 2’ For 2018 Release

“I’M GONNA WRECK-IT” AGAIN!

Walt Disney Animation Studios made the exciting announcement that Ralph and Vanellope will be returning for another adventure in ‘Wreck-It Ralph 2’, a sequel to the 2012 hit film. The plot is vague, but according to John C. Reilly (Mr. Wreck-It Ralph himself), Ralph and Vanellope will be leaving the arcade and wrecking the Internet. Here’s hoping for some more game cameos like a certain mushroom plumber maybe? The sequel is scheduled for a March 9th, 2018 release, which pushes back other Disney Animation film ‘Gigantic’ back for the second time to its new date of November 21st, 2018.

PIXAR HAS ORIGINALS PLANNED AFTER 2019

Pixar has just released ‘Finding Dory’ which is taking the box office by storm, which is the continued adventures of Marlin, Dory and Nemo in the sequel to the 2003 box office hit ‘Finding Nemo’. Pixar has many more sequels on the way, one for each year, with ‘Cars 3’ next year, ‘Toy Story 4’ in 2018 and ‘The Incredibles 2’ in 2019, with a sole original release of ‘Coco’ which is scheduled for November next year. However, President of Pixar Jim Morris revealed to Entertainment Weekly that four more original Pixar films are on the way, with two guaranteed for 2020. 

LARA CROFT RETURNS TO THE BIG SCREEN FOR REBOOT

It’s been a while, but Lara Croft will return to the big screen as Warner Bros. and MGM have scheduled the reboot for March 16th, 2018. The film will feature breakout actress Alicia Vikander (‘Ex Machina’) as Lara Croft which the film is based upon the recent revival of the ‘Tomb Raider’ videogame franchise.
