Lucasfilm has announced some big dates for two of their biggest franchises.

The Force continues to be strong with the announcement of a summer date for ‘Star Wars: Episode 9’, The ninth chapter of the Skywalker saga¬†will debut in cinemas on May 24th, 2019 – continuing to move ‘Star Wars’ away from its impressive December releases and moving the franchise back to its May release date roots, which unlike December, will have massive competition in the summer – including other Disney films such as ‘Avengers’, ‘Toy Story 4’ and the live-action ‘The Lion King’.

However, Lucasfilm has pushed back ‘Indiana Jones 5’ from its original date in July 2019, to its new date on July 10th, 2020. We’ll have to wait a little longer for Harrison Ford’s return to the iconic role.
