The ‘Wizarding World’ just gets bigger with the announcement on who will be playing the greatest wizard that ever lived.

Variety broke the news that ‘Sherlock Holmes’ star Jude Law will be playing Albus Dumbledore… well, a more younger version of Dumbledore in the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ sequel, becoming the third actor to portray the legendary wizard and Headmaster.

The iconic ‘Harry Potter’ character Dumbledore has been portrayed by two actors, Richard Harris in the first two ‘Harry Potter’ movies, until Michael Gambon took over the role from the third movie onwards after Harris passed away before the release of the second movie ‘Chamber of Secrets’.

The ‘Fantastic Beasts’ sequel is currently set for a November 16th, 2018.
