Disney has revealed the official title for next year’s anticipated sequel to 2012’s much loved ‘Wreck-It Ralph’.
This time, instead of wrecking arcade video-games, he is instead breaking the Internet.
The sequel’s official title is ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2’. I don’t mind the title, although I do hope they drop ‘Wreck-It Ralph 2’ from the title, it’s already long enough and weirdly positioned after the subtitle, usually it’s the other way like ‘The Rescuers Down Under’ as an example. And I can’t instead wonder that ‘Ralph “Wrecks” the Internet’ would have been more clever?
However, I’m still excited to see another adventure with everybody’s favourite video-game characters Ralph and Vanellope, with John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman reprising their roles from the first film, along with newly announced voice reprisals from Jack McBrayer (Fix-It Felix Jr.) and Jane Lynch (Sergeant Calhoun).
‘Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2’ debuts in cinemas on March 9th, 2018 (USA).
